The finals of the Ashanti Regional Inter-School Milo Games was a moment of great pride for our municipality. OKESS emerged champions after defeating OWASS, lifting the trophy for an incredible 10th time.
As the Municipal Chief Executive for Old Tafo, it was truly an honour to welcome the winning team and receive the trophy on behalf of the Assembly. What made the victory even more exciting was that the boys didn’t just win the competition — they also took home individual honours, producing the tournament’s Best Goalkeeper and Top Goal Scorer. To crown it all, two of the players earned national call-ups to the Ghana U-17 team. Seeing young talents from our municipality rise to the national level is something we are all very proud of.
In appreciation of this remarkable achievement and the pride they have brought to Old Tafo, the Assembly has promised to visit the school and present some gifts to the team as a small way of saying thank you and encouraging them to aim even higher.
