On the 1st and 3rd March 2023, the department of Social Welfare and Community Development collaborated with Health Directorate of the Old Tafo Municipal Assembly to embark on sensitization exercise at Mount Zion Primary and Old Tafo Methodist M/A JHS “A†respectively. The aim of the sensitization was to educate the students on Substance Abuse.
During the exercise, most of the students were able to identify most of the drugs that were being abused such as cocaine, shisha and marijuana.
The facilitator made the children point out the effects of abusing drug and appreciate the negative effects of substance abuse.
