Old Tafo Municipal Assembly had its turn of the National Fumigation Exercise for the prevention of the novel Corona Virus Spread in the Country. The National Spraying Team in collaboration with the Public Health Emergency Committee (PHEC), security agencies, Zoomlion, Municipal Environmental Health, NADMO came together to disinfect all market centers in the Municipality. The team started the disinfection exercise around 8am at Tafo Market and ended at a part of magazine which falls under Old Tafo Municipality around 4pm. Major places disinffected were Tafo Market, Pankrono market, Moro Market, pankrono Estate Market, Akwadwofuo Market and Magazine Market including the principal streets of Old Tafo Municipal. The team led by Hon. Fred Owusu Obeng Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) had a very successful exercise with a lot of press coverage. The exercise which was under the supervision of the Public Health Emergency Committee (PHEC).
