The Municipal Chief Executive of the Old Tafo Municipal Assembly, Hon. Lord Inusah Lansah, Municipal Coordinating Director, Stella Feniwaa Owusu Aduomi, Old Tafo Education Director, some Head of Department, other Assembly Men and the Hon. Member Of Parliament, Vincent Ekow Assafuah (Tafo-Pankrono MP), has donated 150 beds to Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School (OKESS) to improve the comfort and learning in the Municipality.
The beneficiaries houses in OKESS were Aggrey. Prempeh, Anokye, Sarbah, Brah and Nkansah Dwamenah.
Hon. Vincent Ekow Assafuah said the donation would help reduce the beds deficit in the schools within the municipality and make the students feel more comfortable to enable them to focus on their studies.†The donation was to create a conductive environment for the student to study well and improve their academic performanceâ€. He added.
Hon. Vincent Ekow Assafuah, urged management of the school to take good care of the beds provided.†They should educate the students to keep them safe at all timesâ€. He added.
The Old Tafo Education Director received the beds on behalf of the directorate thanks the Hon. Vincent Ekow Assafuah, Assembly and the government for their support which have come at the time the municipality is facing shortage of beds in our schools due to increase in enrolment as a results of free education.
The Headmaster, teaching stuffs and SRC Executive was so excited and thanked the Member of Parliament Hon. Vincent Ekow Assafuah and the Municipal Chief Executive for this kind gesture.
