MUNICIPAL CHIEF EXECUTIVES TOWN HALL MEETING AT PANKRONO

The Old Tafo Municipal had a town hall meeting at Pankrono Methodist Church with the presence of the Municipal Chief Executive, Municipal Co-ordinating Director and the NPP Parliamentary Candidate. The main purpose of the meeting was to educate the Pankrono community about the good works and future plans of the Government. The program brought a lot of dignities like the Pankrono Zongo Chief, Assembly Members, Head Pastors and the Presiding Member. The Presiding Member apologised on behalf of the Municipal Assembly about their lateness. After he apologised, the Municipal Co-ordinating Director, Mr. Okoffo-Boadi Boampong took the microphone and stated the duties of the assembly to the Pankrono community.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) also took the mantle and explain the plans the Government has for the Pankrono community. During the program, most people at the Pankrono community made a lot of complain about their roads, their security, their lighting system especially their street lights and also pleaded with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon Fred Obeng Owusu that they should tell the Government to build a police station for the Pankrono community to help curb most indecent attitude that some of the youth exhibit in society.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon Fred Obeng Owusu assured them that all their complaints and request will be granted to them, he assured them. The MC of the occasion Mrs. Juliet Tetteh gave the vote of thanks and the Zongo Chief Imam gave the closing prayer.
