During the quarter under review, the department organized an impactful in-service training aimed at empowering participants with essential skills in sewing reusable sanitary pads for both personal use and commercial purposes. The training took place on 6th May 2024 at the Municipal Assembly Conference Hall and was attended by a total of sixteen (16) officers, comprising fifteen (15) females and one (1) male. This initiative is part of our commitment to promote health, hygiene, and economic empowerment within the community. The training provided participants with practical skills and knowledge to produce affordable, eco-friendly sanitary pads, thereby addressing menstrual health challenges and encouraging sustainable income-generating activities. The successful execution of this program reflects our department's dedication to fostering skills development and improving the well-being of our residents through targeted capacity-building efforts.
