SOD CUTTING CEREMONY

The sod cutting ceremony for the construction of office complex and external works for the department of education, health and agriculture (ground floor phase 1) on friday,29TH september,2023 at the forecourt of the otma premises.

This project aligns with our commitment to develop essential infrastructure for our municipality. Since its inception, the Old Tafo Municipal Assembly has aimed to accommodate various departments effectively and promote local economic development. Over recent years, we’ve diligently worked to improve your community’s well-being while upholding transparency and accountability. Various projects have been undertaken, including the construction of administrative and classroom blocks, court buildings, and roads rehabilitation. Under the Ghana Secondary Cities Program, we’ve initiated crucial projects such as road rehabilitation and storm drain construction. These projects are pivotal to our urban development.

The Hon MCE, Lord Inusah Lansah in his speech said “As the Akan proverb suggests, we must continually strive for progress. Today, we mark the beginning of the Office Complex construction, which supports the work of our vital departments. Stakeholders consultations are also underway for the development of a Multi-purpose Recreation Urban Park and the Moro Market redevelopment”.

Nana Tafohene, Nana Agyen Frimpong Ababio,heads of department and various stakeholders were all present at this function.
