CHURCH OF PENTECOST LEADERSHIP PAYS COURTESY CALL ON OLD TAFO MCE.

The leadership of the Church of Pentecost (COP), Old Tafo Area, led by the Area Head, Apostle Isaac Tetteh Judah, on Tuesday, 6th October 2026, paid a courtesy call on the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Old Tafo Municipal Assembly, Hon. Abubakar Sadiq. The delegation was warmly received by the MCE and the Municipal Coordinating Director. Welcoming the team, Hon. Abubakar Sadiq expressed his delight at the visit and stressed the unity between Muslims and Christians in the municipality, noting that both faiths share a common purpose in the community.

In his remarks, Apostle Isaac Tetteh Judah gave a detailed presentation of the Church's contributions to national development over the years. He highlighted the provision of boreholes and schools, as well as various interventions aimed at improving lives in communities across the country. He also recalled the Church's support during the COVID-19 pandemic, including the use of the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC) in the national response.

The Area Head commended the peaceful coexistence between Christians and Muslims in the Old Tafo Municipality and in Ghana as a whole, and mentioned the delegation's earlier visit to the Tafo Mosque and the Chief Imam. He encouraged the MCE to continue walking with God and never to lose faith, reminding him that all things are vested in God.

In his closing remarks, Hon. Abubakar Sadiq thanked God for the peace that exists between the two religions. He observed that the long-held perception that politics is no business of religious bodies has hindered national development, and said the visit had given him renewed hope that national development is a shared responsibility for all, not for politicians alone. He further noted that the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, is a member of both the Church of Pentecost and the NDC. The visit ended with a short prayer.
