MISSING CHILD RE-UNIFIED WITH HIS FAMILY IN OLD TAFO MUNICIPAL
On the 27th of February 2023, at around 1: 30pm, the DOVVSU Department of the Tafo Nhyiaeso Police Station brought to the notice of the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development (Old Tafo Municipal Assembly) of a male missing child whose name he gave as Elijah Fynn.
According to the DOVVSU unit, the boy was found loitering around Tafo Abonu and when questioned he could not give directions to his house. The Department’s interview with the boy revealed that, he lives at Apayo and schooled at Presby M/A Primary but is now a school dropout. According to Elijah, he was loitering around wood village where his mother sells coconut but could not trace his way back home. With this information, the Department was able to trace the child’s family back at wood village where he was re-unified with his family.
